As technology evolves there are drastic changes in the sector. Cyberbullying emerged as a result of the same. My Research seek to address preventive measures of cyberbullying in college and addresses the question if death penalties can be an effective way of punishment for major criminals.

Research show that Cyberbullying begun in the 19th century and it has deliberately increased with the rise in technology. Studies have proved that more than 27% of the student in college has ever been the victim of the circumstance. Mostly these bullying are happening through email, instant messages and other means of communication. Due to this increment, Dan Owens created a prevention program to cub and protect the school environment.

The magnitude of cyberbullying has been felt globally as technology develops through blackmailing and threatening.  It has also affected the young people due to the level in which the technology is accelerating with. The high number of parents cannot keep the speed thus the victim remains to be the young people. Bullying has resulted in physical and psychological distress resulting in depression. Victims in college suffer a lot since it does not only affect their studies but more so their right to privacy. It has also lead to eating disorders and even suicide due to prolonged trauma. (Susan. P limber 2014)

If the issue will not be addressed and a solution drafted it will substantially affect upcoming generation. Mostly there is going to be a reduction in the number of graduate. There will also be an issue related to sexual harassment if this case will not be addressed. Unfortunately, use of death penalties cannot be a solution to this, reason being doctrines have different beliefs and thus taking the life will discriminate some denominations as it interferes beliefs. (Dr.sameer Hinduja)

In conclusion, self-awareness, formulation of international laws and cyber investigation should be put into consideration to curb cyberbullying. The punishment that do not obstruct right to live should be encouraged.
